Juventus beat PSV Eindhoven 3-1 on their Champions League return on Tuesday, with Kenan Yildiz claiming a piece of history with the first goal in the new ‘league phase’.
The teenage Turkey winger gave Juve the lead after 21 minutes with a stunning curling shot from just inside the box, leaving PSV goalkeeper Joël Drommel helpless as the ball went in off the inside of the post. Yildiz, who is 19, also eclipsed Alessandro Del Piero as Juventus’ youngest ever Champions League scorer.
