Germany forward picks up injury at Dubai training campMartinelli, Saka and Jesus among forwards already out
Arsenal fear an injury to Kai Havertz could leave them without a recognised centre-forward for several weeks in a major blow to their Premier League title hopes.
The Germany striker is being assessed before Saturday’s trip to Leicester after sustaining what is understood to be a muscular problem during Arsenal’s training camp in Dubai. Havertz, the club’s top scorer this season with 15 goals in all competitions, returned to London with Mikel Arteta’s squad on Tuesday and will receive further treatment amid concerns that he could miss a crucial part of the campaign, including the trip to third-placed Nottingham Forest on 26 February.
