Labor is seeking to quickly pass its budget night tax cuts through the parliament this week in an apparent bid to wedge the Coalition, who have said they do not support he changes.
If the tax changes pass this week, before the election is called, it would require the Coalition to pledge to repeal the $5 per week cuts if they came to office – after Peter Dutton and Angus Taylor said on Tuesday they would not support the cuts.
