The Albanese government’s “same job, same pay” laws will deliver a combined $920m annual pay rise for workers, according to new analysis that Labor will use to warn of the risks to wages if Peter Dutton rolls back the regime.
Laws came into force last year allowing labour-hire workers to apply to be paid the same amount as directly employed staff doing the same job.
