The Guardian joined fans at Melbourne’s Federation Square as the Lionesses made it to their first ever World Cup final, winning 3-1, dumping co-hosts Australia out of the tournament.
The small group of England supporters said they were confident ahead of the final against Spain on Sunday.
‘If I were Spain, I would be scared,’ one fan said.
