Von der Leyen warns member states will have to make radical changes for Ukraine and others to join bloc
The European Union must immediately prepare for radical changes needed for Ukraine and other countries to become members of the bloc, Ursula von der Leyen has said.
In her annual “state of the union” address, the European Commission president warned members states of the need to “match the determination” of Ukraine and others to get ready for an enlarged EU.
