Bruno Guimarães has signed a new five-year contract with Newcastle. The Brazil midfielder, signed from Lyon in January 2022, has been a key influence in the progress made under Eddie Howe.
The 25-year-old, who has agreed a new deal that runs until 2028, said: “I’m absolutely delighted. The fans have made me feel at home since my first day here and I feel so loved in my life. I’m so happy here.” There is understood to be a £100m release clause in the Brazilian’s contract.
