The Everton chairman is recovering at home after an operationClub say Kenwright, 78, continued with duties until procedure
Everton’s chairman, Bill Kenwright, has been in intensive care following complications during surgery to remove a cancerous tumour from his liver.
The 78-year-old is recovering at home having undergone surgery six weeks ago. The operation has been deemed a success but resulted in Kenwright spending “a prolonged period in an intensive care unit” according to an announcement from Everton. Kenwright revealed in April that he had been diagnosed in 2015 with “a chronic illness” that would likely worsen.
