Danylo Sikan gives Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 win over BarcelonaLeão and Giroud lead Milan’s fightback 2-1 win against PSG
Danylo Sikan’s towering header gave Shakhtar Donetsk a 1-0 win against La Liga champions Barcelona in their Group H match. The 22-year-old forward gave the Ukrainian side, playing in Hamburg, a shock lead in the 40th minute against the five-time European champions who dominated possession throughout.
Sikan jumped behind defender Andreas Christensen to meet a Giorgi Gocholeishvili cross from the right and nod the ball just out of reach of Marc-André ter Stegen in the Barça goal.
