It was not immediately clear if the goalkeeper was consoling his teammate or chastising him, the forceful body language reflecting all at once Inter’s despair at chances missed against Manchester City and their pride for having earned them.

“I told him football is like this, it’s hard and unfair,” Onana said. “But we played a great game, and we will be back. It’s hard to swallow, but working like this we will get back to another final.”
