Cole Palmer’s stoppage-time penalty against his former club secured a 4-4 draw for Chelsea against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. Pep Guardiola‘s side were set to earn all three points after Rodri’s deflected strike in the 86th minute put them ahead, only for the hosts to come from behind for a third time in an eight-goal thriller. City retained their place at the top of the Premier League but now only lead Liverpool and Arsenal by a point. Guardiola called the game ‘a good advert for the Premier League’ while his opposite number Mauricio Pochettino said there were many moments which ‘made him proud’.
