Isthmian League side comfortably beaten by League One TykesNon-league York set up second-round date with Wigan
Horsham’s FA Cup dream was ended by League One Barnsley in their first-round replay.
The seventh-tier Isthmian League side faced the Tykes at a sold-out Camping World Community Stadium after holding them to a 3-3 draw at Oakwell. But they got off to the worst possible start when Nicky Cadden fired Barnsley ahead inside three minutes and John McAtee added two more before the interval. Horsham were vastly improved in the second half but Barnsley held firm and will travel to League Two’s bottom side Sutton in the second round.
