Newcastle fans have been encouraged to stick together to stay safe in Paris after trouble flared briefly before Tuesday’s Champions League game at Paris Saint-Germain.
Footage of a group of Newcastle fans being attacked in a bar in the city circulated on social media late on Monday night, although eyewitnesses said it was over quickly and that nobody was seriously hurt. Representatives of the Newcastle United Supporters’ Club (NUSC) were inside Café Seguin in the Boulogne-Billancourt area when the incident occurred.
