Seventh hamstring injury in three years may lead to surgeryJames increasingly unlikely to be in England’s Euro 2024 squad
Reece James is facing another lengthy lay-off with his latest hamstring injury and is increasingly unlikely to be part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad at Euro 2024.
Chelsea have confirmed their captain has started his rehabilitation programme and although the club has not put a timescale on the injury, the right-back is expected to be out for about three months. James, who has sustained seven hamstring injuries in three years, visited a specialist to determine the severity and must make a decision on whether to undergo surgery.
