The ABC proposes just a “modest” payout to Antoinette Lattouf if it loses its high-stakes legal fight, despite accepting that sacking her was a contributing factor in the psychological condition that underpins her claim for hurt and distress.
In the ABC’s closing submissions in the federal court, Ian Neil SC said that in the event the corporation was found to have breached the Fair Work Act, the broadcaster did accept it was a contributing factor to the psychological distress Lattouf now suffers.
