Brentford expect Arsenal to activate option for permanent moveLeicester sign midfielder Cesare Casedei on loan from Chelsea
Arsenal have confirmed the season-long loan signing of the goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford. The 27-year-old joins after two successful seasons in the Premier League with Brentford and will compete with the England international Aaron Ramsdale for the No 1 spot.
An announcement on Arsenal’s website said “there is an option to make the move permanent”, and Brentford expect this to be exercised. The deal has been structured this way for financial fair play reasons.
