Leeds moved back to the summit of the Championship after Jayden Bogle’s 13th-minute goal proved the difference against a dogged Preston. Burnley’s victory over Norwich on Friday knocked Leeds off the top but the full-back’s sixth goal of the season made sure that state of affairs was only temporary.
The home side made hard work of it, wasting a stream of chances to make for an unnecessarily stressful conclusion but iafter six minutes of stressful added time it was job done.
