Defender reported for conduct in the tunnel after loss to VillaChelsea hope James will be fit to return on 21 October
Chelsea’s defender Reece James has been fined £90,000 and banned for one game after admitting to abusing a match official after last month’s defeat by Aston Villa.
The England wing-back, who was not in the matchday squad because of injury, was reported for his behaviour towards the official in the tunnel after the match.
