Harry Kane struck from close range to steer Bayern Munich to a 1-0 victory at Cologne on Friday, stretching his sensational record scoring run in the Bundesliga while also lifting the Bundesliga champions to the top of the table.
Kane has now scored a Bundesliga record 18 goals in his opening 12 league games for Bayern since joining the German giants from Tottenham in the summer. He is also the first English player to score 18 times in one season in the Bundesliga.
