The chess grandmaster Hans Niemann has denied allegations that he cheated using a vibrating sex toy in a win over the world champion, Magnus Carlsen, last year in an interview with Piers Morgan. Speaking a month after settling a legal dispute with Carlsen and chess.com, Niemann has reaffirmed his innocence saying he has never cheated in an over-the-board game. ‘It is an unequivocal fact that I have never cheated in an over-the-board game,’ Niemann said. ‘I have proven my chess level time and time again. This is simply a case of where bullies are going after someone because they threaten their business interest.’
