Mikel Arteta was surprised to find out he is currently the seventh longest serving manager in England and joked with reporters saying: ‘I’m getting old, eh?’ He added: ‘It tells you a lot, you know, how difficult this job is and to keeping the job and the amount of the clubs that are changing managers.’ The Arsenal manager was forward-looking however, encouraging his team to ‘keep going’ and continue their successes which have kept him in his position for so long
