New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Tuesday that he’s “obviously, ahead of schedule” in his extraordinary attempt to return from a torn achilles tendon, but added that it “makes absolutely no sense” to have a specific timetable for return.
The four-time NFL Most Valuable Player, who went down with the injury only four snaps into his New York debut and had surgery on 13 September, reasserted his desire to play again in 2023 while tempering expectations during his weekly appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show.
