The Liverpool manager, Jürgen Klopp, paid tribute to both Sir Bobby Charlton and Bill Kenwright ahead of his side’s Uefa Europa League match against Toulouse. Charlton, a Manchester United and England legend, passed away on October 21, while the former Everton chairman Kenwright’s death was confirmed on the 24th. Klopp described Charlton as ‘one of the biggest football personalities, definitely in English football, European football, world football’ and spoke of Kenwright’s ‘massive heart’ for the city of Liverpool and for Everton. He offered his condolences to both families.
