Australia’s swimmers have continued their golden run at the world championships in Japan, with Kyle Chalmers claiming the blue riband 100m freestyle, Kaylee McKeown the 50m backstroke and the women’s 4x200m freestyle relay team setting a world record.
Australia’s gold medal tally rose to nine after their heroics in Fukuoka on Thursday night – the nation’s best tally at any world titles since 2007.
