Fee for Hungary captain expected to be around £60mPlans to expand Anfield’s safe standing section to 13,300
Liverpool are in advanced talks with RB Leipzig over a deal for Dominik Szoboszlai as Jürgen Klopp attempts to continue his summer rebuild at Anfield by signing the Hungary captain.
The 22-year-old has been heavily tracked by Newcastle following an excellent season in the Bundesliga that yielded six goals and eight assists. However, Liverpool emerged as frontrunners to sign the player following a meeting with his agents earlier this week and now look increasingly likely to agree a deal after further discussions on Friday.
