Liverpool prefer loan move for midfielder/wingerMönchengladbach’s Koné on list to bolster midfield
Liverpool have rejected a bid from RB Leipzig for Fábio Carvalho. Their preference would be to find a loan for the 20-year-old but they could be open to a permanent deal that included a buy-back clause.
Carvalho, who can play in midfield or as a winger, made eight starts last season after joining from Fulham. He was involved in 10 of the first 11 league matches but played only 11 minutes in the league after that and Jürgen Klopp opened the door to a loan last Friday.
