The McClaren XI that beat Bolton 2-1 at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium featured Gareth Southgate, Mark Schwarzer, Gaizka Mendieta, Juninho and Boudewijn Zenden, whose seventh-minute penalty proved the winner.
