Nepal broke a number of Twenty20 records as they thrashed Mongolia by 273 runs in the opening match of the Asian Games men’s cricket competition in Hangzhou, China. Nepal scored 314 runs to become the first side to break the 300 mark in a T20 international match while Kushal Malla broke the record for the fastest century, reaching 100 in only 34 balls. His teammate Dipendra Singh Airee broke the record for fastest half-century when he made his 50 from nine balls, with Nepal also hitting a record 26 sixes in the match.
