Nicolás Jarry’s son joined his father on court during his fourth-round match against Diego Schwartzman at the Shanghai Masters. The match was taking place on Jarry’s birthday and his wife, Laura, along with their son Juan and newborn baby boy Santiago, were there to cheer him on. Jarry picked up his son and gave him a hug while commentators joked that he may be following in his father’s footsteps one day. Jarry ultimately beat Schwartzman 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 to book a quarter-final meeting with Carlos Alcaraz or Grigor Dimitrov in China
