Spain’s top criminal court examines Luis Rubiales’s actions, while football chief’s mother goes on hunger strike to support him
Prosecutors at Spain’s top criminal court have launched a preliminary investigation into whether Luis Rubiales’s unsolicited kiss of footballer Jenni Hermoso could constitute sexual assault.
Their move came as the embattled football chief’s mother said she had shut herself in a church and was on a hunger strike over what she described as the “inhumane and bloodthirsty” hunt of her son.
