The Las Vegas Raiders answered their most pressing personnel question of the offseason Friday by acquiring quarterback Geno Smith in a trade with Seattle and reuniting him with his former coach, a person with knowledge of the deal told the Associated Press on Friday.
The person, speaking on condition of anonymity because the teams hadn’t announced the trade, said the Raiders are sending the Seahawks a third-round pick for Smith.
