Wally Lewis has recalled his shock at the sight of brain scans that left his doctor in tears as the rugby league great revealed he was told he likely has chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
The Queensland State of Origin player known universally as “the king” sought medical advice after becoming concerned by regular bouts of memory loss.
