A critical incident investigation is under way after police pepper sprayed a teenage motorbike rider who later crashed and had to be taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police stopped a motorbike on a footbridge off Gipps Street in West Tamworth, New South Wales, while patrolling around 3.50am on Friday morning.
