Bargaining committee endorses five-year contract which includes wage increases and Martin Luther King Day as paid holiday
The Teamsters union announced on Tuesday that its leadership had reached a tentative agreement with UPS, averting a strike that was set to begin on 1 August involving 340,000 workers.
The national bargaining committee unanimously endorsed the five-year tentative agreement.
