Trinity one of nine clubs to secure Grade A statusA-status clubs are effectively immune from relegation
Wakefield Trinity have been readmitted to Super League for 2025 at the expense of London Broncos, after IMG revealed their gradings for 2025 which decide the makeup of rugby league’s professional pyramid.
The sport agreed a 12-year strategic partnership with IMG last year, with the removal of conventional promotion and relegation at the heart of the agreement. Instead, all 35 professional clubs would be annually graded on a variety of on and off-field metrics, with the top 12 ranked clubs being granted admission into Super League every year.
